Joann Makes Over the Community

As a well-respected stylist, Joann spends almost no time at the salon. Instead, she gets commissions from locals every day - usually three - and heads to their houses to give them her best fashion advice.

Her first stop today was Peter Strutt's house. Peter admitted to not being pleased with his neon green workout clothes and requested something new and fresh.

She got straight to work and gave him something more streamlined and flattering but, infuriatingly, he complained about the outfit and refused to pay her. Jerk!

When Joann was finished with her clients, she headed to the salon to see if anyone desired a makeover. The first person she talked to was a member of the Bunch family. This woman did not request a makeover, but she desperately needed one.

This picture was taken before Joann was finished with the makeover. The hair and make up are new, though. Don't you love the sideswept curls and the deep red lips? That woman's lips are incredible!

Ms. Bunch's look said more "data entry" than "tattoo artist" - which is what she is! - so Joann gave her something edgier and more modern.

The cinched waist on the shirt gives her rather thin body some curve, the jeans and heels make her legs look ridiculously long, and the open back of the shirt shows off that incredible tattoo on her back. I think this is a win! Ms. Bunch did too, and paid Joann handsomely.

This lady was next.

Joann says, "Now ladies, conventional wisdom states that if you want to thin out your face you should wear your hair long. However, long hair doesn't do much if you just wear it in a long mane down your back. And what's with the hair color? Boring!"

"There we go! The layers give you some dimension, and the long bangs and close cut add some definition to your face. Now, let's put on a color that will show off that rich new hair color and gorgeous skin, shall we?"

"Lovely! Well, see you all next time at Joann's House of Style!"
