Peter Can't Catch a Break

So, the very next morning after his house was burglarized, Peter's sink broke.

He grabbed a wrench and tried desperately to fix it, but ended up getting sprayed in the face and actually making the leak worse. He gave up at that point.

He walked a good distance away from the spraying sink and called the repair technician, while little lakes of water started to flood his kitchen.

Poor Peter.

To take his mind off his troubles, Peter decided to learn more about a new skill he'd tried out: logic. He bought a telescope and a chess table, and spent several hours looking for new heavenly bodies. After a little while, he decided to enter the competitive chess circuit. He called up Connor Frio and invited him over for a game of chess.

Meanwhile, Pauline was entertaining a guest.

Who is he? What are they doing in there? Why is Pauline in her nightclothes? I shudder to think.

Connor arrived, and Peter challenged him. They played for a long time, but finally Peter won. Connor left soon afterward.

The next day, Pauline developed a wish to switch from the Music career to the Sports career. Since her lifetime wish has nothing to do with her profession, I said, "why not?" And she went to the arena to become a Rabid Fan. I had no idea you could get paid for that.

The Sports career requires you to be athletic, so Pauline started working out in front of their flatscreen TV.

Everything was going great until it broke. I had Pauline try to fix it herself.

It's dangerous, having an unskilled Sim repair an electronic appliance, but to be honest, I was kind of hoping she'd electrocute herself. I don't have a picture of it, but right after Peter's chess game with Connor, Pauline headed outside. I checked her action queue, and do you know what that hussy was going out there to do? She was going outside to flirt with Connor! Right in front of her husband! Connor was too distracted so the action went away, but I was really angry.

I hope nothing exciting happens before I get back to them in the rotation.
