Skill Builders

Friendly Sims really will talk to anyone. Tegan and Joe both want to up their Charisma skill to get ahead in their respective careers, so they accost anyone they can find. They've talked the ears off of everyone in the house and have had to move on to other prey, like the maid...
"Gee, that's interesting, but I kind of have to clean your house now..."
(Someone broke the dishwasher and water was running all over the floor. The maid left without cleaning it and Slob Tegan ended up mopping it up.)

and their own reflections.
(I love how into the conversation they seem.)

Meanwhile, Noah and Peter decided to take their guitars and go somewhere where they wouldn't drive people insane with their clashing melodies. Peter headed to the park first...

...but then he heard about a famous guitarist who was giving a lecture at the local bookstore. He dashed off and was so inspired by what he heard that he walked outside and started playing immediately, where he started to draw a very appreciative crowd, including a fetching redhead named Fiona McIrish. I know Fiona from previous games, and she's not without baggage - she's a single mom who lives with her sister, also a single mom. I wonder if sparks will fly, or if it will be too much to handle for Peter?
"What's that? You want private lessons?"

Meanwhile, on the other side of the bookstore, Noah appears to be living the agonizing life of the misunderstood artist.
"Why am I so alone?"

Back at the house, Tara is also hard at work stargazing to raise her Logic level. I'm not sure what stars have to do with logic, but there you have it. Soon she'll be discovering new stars and planets.
Why does the moon look like a bowling ball?

The major skill Erin needs is Writing, but since she spends most of her day writing books on her computer, she doesn't need much extra practice. Instead she tries to raise her Cooking skill by cooking meals for the rest of the house.
"Dammit!"

After burning the grilled cheese sandwiches...twice...Erin decided to make a salad. After all, blenders don't burn things.
"There! Told you I could cook!"
