Shortly after he returned from China, Ethan received an invitation to a party at his mother's house. He agreed to go, and showed up fashionably late.
I don't think I've mentioned Ethan's traits yet: among other things, he's Artistic, a Bookworm, and a Genius. Geniuses learn the Logic skill faster than most Sims, but they're also more curious about the world around them than others. They want to learn a little of everything, and they want unusual experiences. When Ethan greeted his mother at her house and noticed her sunken, glowing eyes and paler-than-usual skin, he deduced that she was a vampire. He instantly developed a desire to become a vampire as well, just to see what it's like.
"Bite right here, Mom."
When Ethan got home, he hadn't turned yet, but his bite was itching.
The next morning, Doris had a nasty bout of morning sickness.
"Awww, my invisible baby bump!"
The house is getting a little cramped - no way there's room for a nursery here.
The Bunches spent almost all their money on a new house.
Doris planted a new garden to help pay the bills.
Then she went to the market to sell her produce and fish, so Ethan could buy an easel.
When next we see Doris and Ethan, Doris will have her baby. How will she deal with a vampire husband and a newborn?
