A Very Bittersweet Day

Elizabeth finally got around to proposing to David. Don't they look cute?

The next day, David moved into the Kelly household and planned their wedding party. They decided to keep the celebration small and intimate, so they only invited David's immediate family: Noah, Zelda, and Helena.

Just an hour after they sent the invitation, though, David got a call from his father saying that Zelda had died. Bravely, Noah came to the wedding party anyway. Noah and David consoled each other, but Noah was clearly heartbroken.

Elizabeth and David said their vows while Noah and Helena tossed rose petals.

It was such a bittersweet moment for Noah. He seemed so happy and proud of his son.

But he obviously missed his beloved Zelda, and wished that she were there to share the moment with him.

There was another sweet moment when friendly Joe noticed how down Noah was, and tried to cheer him up.

When the guests were gone, David and Elizabeth celebrated their wedding night, and soft lullaby chimes rang through the night.

The third generation of the Sullivan Sims is on the way!
