Work and Play

Tegan has, once or twice, completely exhausted herself for the sake of work. I have to have her catch up on sleep in the middle of the day. (Obviously this picture was taken before I bought the TV for them.)

As a power broker, Tegan can supplement her income and increase her work performance by holding meetings at various locations throughout the town. She gets paid quite a bit of extra money for each meeting - the exact figure eludes me just now. Here are some of the places at which she has held meetings.

Hospital
Spa
Diner
Bookstore
Bistro
City Hall

Some of those seem like weird places to me, but whatever works for her. Meanwhile, while Tegan is working her butt off, Youngbum gets to have a blast while making some extra money and improving his guitar skills.

So at this point in the game, Tegan is accomplished, brilliant, and rich. But for all of that, she still can't make a decent batch of waffles.

On the bright side, look how toned her back and arms are getting!

The House by the Beach

Now it's time for Tegan and Youngbum! Their house is small, but the location is wonderful.

I moved the furniture around a bit and bought them a TV, which is something Youngbum could never do without.

Meanwhile, Tegan got her exercise machines and started building the perfect body. She's not very muscular yet, so she can barely get the weights up, but she tries really hard and can work out for long periods of time without getting tired. She can also choose to work out so that she doesn't break a sweat. That workout probably doesn't help her achieve much physically, but at least she doesn't emit green clouds of stink when she exercises.

Feel the burn!!!

New Friends, Old Friends, and Ex-Friends

One day, as Tara was coming out of the hospital, she spotted Candy and hurried over to talk to her. Sims could always use new friends, and Tara had never met Candy before. They started talking about music.

Partially because I was desperately curious about Candy's romantic situation (the last I saw she had three romantic interests) and because I wanted to see if Candy would flirt voluntarily with Tara, I had Tara ask if she was single.

Candy said no, so I guess she hasn't taken the leap with anyone yet. She must like to be a free agent. Anyway, the conversation served its purpose, and Candy and Tara can call each other friends now.

Meanwhile, Christopher was having another kind of conversation entirely with Sunny Lakshi. He invited her to go out for lunch with him at the bistro. She showed up, which was more than he deserved, and then he gently broke the news to her that he wanted to be "just friends."

She took it well, but for obvious reasons didn't feel like eating lunch with him anymore. She left, and Christopher went inside to eat by himself. He was sad to lose a friend, but enjoyed his lunch immensely.

Later that night, Christopher and Tara went to the museum together. They met a whole host of Tara's old housemates.

Pauline is holding Elizabeth, Erin and Joe's daughter.

At the end of the day, Tara and Christopher headed home to spend some quiet time together.
